you and i的be动词的用法

主语是you and I，be动词用are

根据英语中“主谓一致原则 ”中，当主语部分有两个(或两个以上部分 ）并列而成时，一般情况下，谓语动词按复数对待 。you and I是两个人，主语是复数，所以后面跟的be动词用are。

再如My books and a pen are on the desk .我的书和一支钢笔在书桌上 。

Early to bed and early to rise are a good habit .早睡早起是一个好习惯 。

You and I做主语，因为主语是两个人，后面的系动词要用复数形式，are或者were.例如You and I are good friends.
