Age的副词和动词

Age有名词和动词两种词性，没有副词用法

age用作名词的基本含义是“年龄”“年纪”，引申还可指“长时间”用作动词的基本意思是在不长的时间内“长大，老化，变老” “使苍老”。

一用作名词：

如：

She has a nephew who is just ten years of age.她有一个才10岁的侄子。

Everything in the room looks in keeping with the age of the building.房间里的一切看起来都与这栋建筑物的存在年头很相称。

Perhaps he has grown wiser with age.可能随着年纪增长，他变聪明了。

二用作动词

age可用作及物动词，也可用作不及物动词。

（1）用作及物动词时，接名词或代词作宾语。

Fear and anxiety aged him overnight.恐惧和忧虑使他一夜之间变老了。

The fear of what might happen aged him.对可能发生的事情的担忧使他变得苍老了。

（2）用作不及物动词 S+～(+A)

He is aging rapidly.他老得很快。

The wine aged well.这酒陈得很好。
