thenumberof後面用more還是larger

he number of表示“……的數目”，謂語動詞用單數。

The number of ther students in our class is much large than last year.

意思是：我們班學生的數量比去年多.

數量（the number ）多用 large 或者 big

相反，數量少用 small .

用large 或者small 形式數量的大小，但是不能用more
