some tomato soup為什麼不用複數

soup是不可數名詞，沒有複數形式，例如：

1、We just had soup instead of a full meal.我們沒有吃全餐，只喝了湯。

2、This soup is a spicy variation on a traditional favourite.這種湯是在一種受歡迎的傳統湯羹中加了香料。

3、She told me the whole story from soup to nuts.她把事情的來龍去脈都告訴了我。

tomato的複數是tomatoes ，some後面的名詞需要複數，some tomatoes 一些西紅柿。但soup 是不可數的，只能用量詞表示覆數，如一碗湯a bowl of soup ，兩碗湯 two bowls of soup.若tomato soup表示的是西紅柿湯，那複數就應該是two（數詞）bowls of tomato soup。
