still为什么加比较级

举例:

still用在比较级前没有特别的意义，只是表示"仍然"的意思

Still 常用来加强比较级，意为“还要，更”，置于比较级之前或之后

如： still more，意为“还要更多”，better still，意为“还要更好”

still less 的意思就跃然纸上了，意为“还要更少”，实际意为“更不用说，更何况”

例如：

No explanation was offered， still less an apology.

连个解释都不给，就更不用说道歉了。

We don't have enough money for new car， still less a luxury SUV.

我们没有足够的钱买新车，更不用说买一辆豪华SUV了。
