some tomato soup为什么不用复数

soup是不可数名词，没有复数形式，例如：

1、We just had soup instead of a full meal.我们没有吃全餐，只喝了汤。

2、This soup is a spicy variation on a traditional favourite.这种汤是在一种受欢迎的传统汤羹中加了香料。

3、She told me the whole story from soup to nuts.她把事情的来龙去脉都告诉了我。

tomato的复数是tomatoes ，some后面的名词需要复数，some tomatoes 一些西红柿。但soup 是不可数的，只能用量词表示复数，如一碗汤a bowl of soup ，两碗汤 two bowls of soup.若tomato soup表示的是西红柿汤，那复数就应该是two（数词）bowls of tomato soup。
