单个的副词soon一般用在一般将来时态中，也可以用在一般过去时态中。

1、soon用作副词，意思是“不久”，可指“将来”，表示“预期的时刻不久就会到来”，用以谈论不久将来的事或在过去某时间以后不久所发生的事，强调两个时间的接续关系。soon引申还可作“早”“快”解，强调行为的快捷，毫不迟延。
